Summary of the Role

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a focus on automation, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of eCommerce solutions supporting a leading airline in North America. You will work closely with development and product teams to execute testing activities, improve automation coverage, and support high‑quality releases through efficient and scalable testing practices.

In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios as part of Agile and end‑to‑end testing activities.

  • Review requirements and functional specifications from multiple sources (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, wireframes, and design documents) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Monitor application quality through regression testing, automated test campaigns, and validation of new releases across multiple environments.

  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate issues, analyze test results, review code coverage, and support defect resolution.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall application reliability

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Around 6+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.

  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, processes, and modern testing practices.

  • Experience with API testing using tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, REST Assured, and working with XML and JSON-based services.

  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Protractor, AccelQ, or similar technologies, along with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, including experience reviewing application logs, tracking test activities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
