Engineer II – Cloud Engineering and Enablement
What you’ll do
The Cloud Engineering and Enablement team is a key part of orchestrating the global digital transformation of the organization. We partner with our business facing teams, capture strategy, assess the current state capabilities, establish future state needs, and utilize Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code Automation to power the business capabilities of the organization.
As part of the Cloud Engineering and Enablement team, we are looking for a solution-focused Engineer II on the Cloud Delivery team. This Engineer II will use Cloud technologies to automate, enhance and maintain effective and scalable solutions across the Cloud platform. This Engineer II will be responsible for implementing cloud workloads and work on continuously improving functionality. This role will report to the Manager of Engineering for Cloud Delivery.

The ideal candidate will
Leverage Azure PaaS and IaaS through Infrastructure as Code for building business solutions
Be familiar with DevOps, and Agile standard methodologies
Provide excellent experience for our customers with strong communication and delivery of high-quality cloud solutions
Incorporate best practices and standards into their daily work
Minimum Experience
1-3 years’ experience in the public cloud, with foundational knowledge in software design and architecture
Foundational understanding of cloud networks and platforms (Azure preferred)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep
Basic knowledge of identity and access management
Awareness of Azure Policies and governance controls
Basic experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or other DevOps pipelines
Experience with a source repository such as GitHub and branching
Ability to read and interpret design documents, architectural diagrams, and deployment standards
Ability to follow standardized patterns, modules, and delivery frameworks
Knowledge of cloud monitoring concepts; ability to review deployment logs and troubleshoot failed deployments
Strong documentation habits for updating runbooks, deployment notes, and handover materials
Strong customer focus and communication skills, ability to work well in a team, project management, and technical leadership experience
Agile planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and completing committed schedules
Willingness to learn and grow technically, ask questions, and follow established engineering practices
Passionate about building and improving features in a fast pace, team-oriented environment
Great to Have
Experience with Azure
Experience with container concepts, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Experience with Azure Resource Manager via API, CLI, Bicep, and Terraform
Experience with the understanding of APIM, REST API Services and JSON structures
Experience with implementing policy-as-code or guardrails
Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows administration; including BASH, Python, and PowerShell scripting
