Your Role & Impact
In this vital role within our Nuclear Medicine Department, you will be an essential part of the diagnostic process, performing a variety of technical procedures using radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of human disease. Your expertise and compassionate approach will directly contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in healthcare.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver exceptional patient care by maintaining a professional and compassionate image, building trust with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues in line with our Service Excellence Standards and core values.
- Greet and confirm patient identity, assist with appropriate attire for procedures, properly position patients, and inform them of what to expect during imaging.
- Apply your technical expertise to select and utilize appropriate technical factors for each procedure based on body habitus, pathology, and body parts.
- Take ownership of image quality, processing and verifying all images meet the highest standards for diagnostic accuracy.

- Participate in the on-call rotation, providing critical support for emergent and essential procedures.

What You Bring:
- Education: Graduate of an approved school in Nuclear Medicine.
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Must complete and pass ARRT/NMTCB exam within 12 months of graduation from Nuclear Medicine program.
- Certification with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- BLS Certification required (American Heart Association).
