The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. She honors patients; mind, body and spirit by respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of each individual. Nursing practices are based on evidence and current research as well as hospital and department policies and procedures, regulatory standards and professional guidelines. Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
Basic Life Support
Some RN positions will be required to maintain ACLS certification. Please seek departmental guidelines.
Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
OR,
High school diploma.
Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
State-licensed practical nurse required.
Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
Clinic experience preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
