We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with strong mobile design expertise to work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams on modern, user‑centric digital solutions.
The position is office-based in Kraków, supporting products such as Flight Plan Manager, InFlight, Unified Taskboard, Movement Manager, and Crew Manager, depending on business needs
Description
- Conduct user research and translate insights into personas, user journeys, and clear product requirements
- Define information architecture and interaction flows to create intuitive, user-centered experiences
- Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore, communicate, and validate concepts
- Create high-fidelity UI designs ensuring visual consistency, brand alignment, and usability
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, reusable components, and documentation
- Plan and run usability tests, analyze results, and iterate designs based on findings
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout delivery
- Prepare clear design specifications, documentation, and assets for smooth developer handoff
- Monitor product performance and propose continuous UX improvements based on data and feedback
- Present design decisions, facilitate workshops, and effectively communicate with stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an aviation software design environment or similarly complex technological products
- Demonstrated experience conducting interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis, with the ability to extract actionable insights
- Experience structuring content, navigation systems, taxonomy, and user flows for clarity and usability
- Proficiency in designing intuitive interactions, behaviors, and micro-interactions using a user-centered approach
- Experience planning, running, and synthesizing usability tests and applying findings to improve designs
- Strong understanding of UX deliverables, including personas, empathy maps, journey maps, and scenario-based design
- Expertise in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, spacing, imagery, color theory, and accessibility-driven design (including WCAG standards)
- Experience designing polished interfaces for web, mobile, and multi-platform systems
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, FigJam/Miro, Framer, Axure)
- Ability to create low- to high-fidelity prototypes, including complex interaction logic
- Experience preparing design specifications, assets, redlines, and interaction requirements
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility standards, and design-technology constraints (no coding required)
- Ability to define UX strategy, align design decisions with business goals, and influence product direction
- Experience facilitating ideation sessions, design sprints, discovery workshops, and cross-functional meetings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, researchers, data teams, and business stakeholders
- Experience producing UX documentation (e.g., specs, interaction guidelines, research summaries, design system contributions)
- Bachelor’s degree in System Design Engineering, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range
Our total rewards package includes base pay and benefits, with final compensation determined by experience, skill, location, and internal equity.
Base salary range: PLN 15 400 - 23 100 gross per month
