Job Description
The Consultant, GRS will:
Maintain and service an assigned block of group retirement clients through proactive consulting and relationship management
Sales via marketings within an assigned block of GRS clients and other sales opportunities as assigned by the Senior Director, Sales like marketings for partner firms with GRS clients and new client opportunities.
Support the Retirement practice in meeting and exceeding its annual growth targets by supporting cross-sales initiatives like ICPP and IFS.
Support Group Solutions sales by opening doors to your assigned block of clients for other People Corporation services, solutions, and products.
Respond to general and technical inquiries related to plan design, legislative requirements, governance, investments, taxation, and retirement industry best practices
Develop strong client relationships to support high client retention and satisfaction levels
Participate in finalist meetings and support the acquisition of new business opportunities
Prepare client meeting materials, presentations, governance documentation, and follow-up meeting summaries including tracking and execution of action items
Develop and maintain governance processes and service models for retirement plan clients
Support special projects, webinars, member education sessions, and initiatives designed to enhance the client experience
Maintain accurate client records and key information within internal systems and databases
Ensure all client-facing materials comply with corporate branding standards and applicable regulatory or professional requirements
Monitor market trends, pricing, products, services, and industry developments within the retirement and savings landscape
Maintain and continuously develop technical expertise related to retirement legislation, taxation, investments, governance, compliance, and industry trends
Participate in ongoing professional development through industry education, workshops, and continuing education opportunities
To be successful as a Consultant, GRS with People Corporation, you will need:
Minimum 5 years of experience within the retirement, pension, or group savings industry, ideally in a client-facing or advisory role
Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships and deliver exceptional client service
Strong knowledge of group retirement programs, investments, governance, taxation, and regulatory requirements
Ability to identify client needs and develop practical, solution-oriented recommendations
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Professional and confident communicator in both internal and external interactions
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
RPA, CEBS, or other industry designations are considered an asset
LLQP license required or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
Willingness to travel as required

The base salary for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
