We are seeking a talented individual to be part of the Chief of Staff (CoS) organization for Marsh Risk
This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What can you expect?
The Business Initiatives & Engagement Manager will be part of the Chief of Staff (CoS) organization for Marsh Risk and will lead side wide workplace initiatives including CSR/Impact agenda across India GCC West locations, while also driving colleague engagement initiatives in support of the President, Marsh Risk Office.
This role will be responsible for defining CSR themes and annual plans; identifying, onboarding, and managing NGO partnerships; coordinating end-to-end program delivery; and influencing internal and external stakeholders to enable sustained participation and measurable outcomes. The incumbent will manage CSR budgets and governance and develop high-quality leadership and Board-ready updates, including impact reporting and presentations. In parallel, the role will design and deliver colleague engagement programs in partnership with the People Partner, strengthening culture, connection, and alignment to the President, Marsh Risk Office priorities.
The role will also own and drive site-wide colleague experience and workplace initiatives, partnering closely with RES, GSP, and Security to ensure effective day-to-day site operations and a strong return-to-office (RTO) experience. This includes coordination on seat allocation, RTO hygiene and compliance, site communications, and operational reporting. The incumbent will play a key role in the transition from Supreme Business Park to the new Mumbai L&T office, ensuring a seamless move and a smooth colleague experience throughout the change.

Social Impact Strategy & Program Management
Co-create and drive the CSR strategy for Marsh Risk aligned to enterprise priorities, local regulations, and community needs.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend CSR themes and signature programs based on impact potential, colleague participation, reputational considerations, and feasibility.
Translate strategy into an annual CSR plan with clear objectives, timelines, participation targets, and measurable outcomes.
Driving meaningful volunteering and team‑building activities.
Develop operating rhythm for CSR governance (calendars, reviews, approvals, reporting) and ensure compliance with internal controls and external requirements, as applicable.
Identify, assess, onboard, and manage NGO partners; lead due diligence and partnership documentation in collaboration with HR/Legal/Compliance/Finance/GSP as required.
Build strong relationships with NGO leadership and program teams to ensure program effectiveness, transparency, and delivery quality.
Coordinate on-ground engagement models (volunteering, awareness campaigns) and ensure a consistent colleague experience.
Budget, Governance, Measurement & Reporting
Own CSR budgeting including annual planning, forecasting, vendor/NGO payments coordination, and spend tracking with appropriate governance.
Define impact measurement approach (outputs/outcomes), collect partner data, and develop dashboards and reports for leadership.
Prepare leadership updates, Board-ready presentations, and end-of-year impact reports with strong storytelling and data integrity.
Colleague Engagement (President Marsh Risk Office Support)
Run colleague engagement programs that support President Marsh Office priorities (townhalls, listening forums, engagement campaigns, recognition events, culture-building interventions). This will be in partnership with People Partner for Marsh Risk.
Coordinate cross-functional execution for events and engagement initiatives (logistics, comms, leadership inputs, feedback loops).
Partner with HR and Communications to ensure alignment with broader engagement strategy and colleague experience.
Site experience & workplace operations — Own site‑wide colleague experience and workplace initiatives, partnering closely with Real Estate Services (RES), GSP, and Security to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and an effective return‑to‑office (RTO) experience. The manager will play a key role in the transition from Supreme Business Park to the new Mumbai L&T office, covering seat allocation, RTO hygiene and compliance, site communications, and operational reporting.
What you need to have
10–12 years of experience in Business management, CSR/ESG/impact programs, colleague engagement, or related program management roles.
Demonstrated experience managing NGO partnerships, program execution, and governance/budgets.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
Proven ability to create executive-level content (leadership decks, Board presentations, narratives, impact reports).
Experience running colleague-facing programs/events with strong attention to detail and delivery excellence.
Strong project management and operational rigor; ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability (“plan-to-deliver” mindset).
Relationship-building and partnership management.
Financial acumen for budgeting, tracking, and governance.
Comfort operating in ambiguity, prioritizing, and driving outcomes.
