RN Transfer Center

The RN Transfer Center, under the supervision of the Director and/or Clinical Manager, is responsible for facilitating admissions/transfers to and within NAH. S/he maintains the Physician Referral Line service to provide timely access to area specialists as needed. S/he will direct, delegate, and coordinate the process needed for patient access NAH. S/he follows accepted nursing practice, policy, and procedures. S/he performs procedures that are within the scope of department and nursing practice. S/he seeks assistance and support when necessary, assists in data collection, and facilitates admissions or transfer of patients for patient care.
