Job Summary

Are you the type of person who has a passion for creating and maintaining aesthically pleasing outdoor spaces? In this role you will assist in a wide range of duties to enhance our campus beautification and maintenance. We’re looking for a dedicated individual who uses their expertise in groundskeeping to ensure our campus is attractive and well-maintained.

What You’ll Do

1. Maintain Vermeer property lawns including plant care, weed control, and debris removal.

2. Install/maintain elements of landscaping, trees, flowers, and shrubs.

3. Assist in set-ups and tear downs of furniture and displays for events and office moves.

4. Perform basic maintenance on lawn care equipment and tools.

5. Maneuver a snow blower, shovel, and/or salt spreader to remove snow.

6. Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.

7. Apply of fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides to safely and effectively manage pests and weeds.

What We’re Looking For

- Two or more years experience in lawn care or agriculture.

- Heavy equipment experience.

- Basic mechanical skills for tool and equipment maintenance.

- Chemical applicator license.

- Flexibility in work schedule to include nights and weekends as needed.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
