Senior Risk Specialist

About the Role:

The role will involve carrying out qualitative and quantitative risk analyses to support predominantly Maritime Clients with the management of their risks, including the assessment of novel technologies and systems to assist them with their decarbonisation journey

The Role 

  • To manage and support projects within Risk Team portfolio and ensure they are in accordance with quality system requirements, cost structures and budgetary / contractual requirements. This could include:
    • Facilitating / Chairing qualitative risk studies (e.g. HAZIDs, HAZOPs) or supporting others as a scribe.
    • Completing a technical review of risk assessments completed by other team members
    • Leading or supporting QRAs
  • To establish, develop and maintain long-term client relationships, using feedback to continually develop our services, processes / procedures and deliverables.
  • To develop technical proposals for clients, including estimated costs and timescales for delivery.
  • This role will require travel to support workshops at client premises.

 

What you bring

  • Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques, with experience facilitating / chairing workshops.
  • In depth working experience in risk assessment / qualitative risk management.
  • Customer focussed, proactive and highly motivated to support clients, by meeting their deadlines and regularly updating them on progress
  • Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication / influencing skills
  • Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work, with the ability to produce comprehensive and detailed written reports.
