Security Officer

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ensure the security, safety and wellbeing of all personnel, visitors and premises.

• Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, sabotage, fire and other safety issues

• Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers

• Daily checking twice a day on electrical fence and perimeter walls fence against intrusion or breakings

• Quality Reporting on inbound and outbound cargo

• Check and control the night mobile police unity as per agreed number on site and test of panic buttons on weekly basis

• Control presence of guards as per number of guards informed on security companies’ invoices

• Adhere to all company service and operating standards

• involvement in CHESS routines; i.e. general safety inspections

Reporting Structure         

The incumbent will be reporting to the Security Superintendent

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Experience with a background on security– preferable 3 to 7 years of experience
