Founded in 1975, BR+A Consulting Engineers maintains a total staff of over 500 employees located at our main office in Boston and branch offices in New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Vienna, VA (Washington, DC); Coral Gables (Miami) and Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Charlotte and Raleigh, NC; Charleston, SC; Houston, TX; New Haven, CT; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; and Toronto. BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.
BR+A is seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Coral Gables, FL office. The candidate will be strongly motivated, well organized, and show professional initiative. The Ability to take ownership of assignments and perform well both independently and as part of the project team is also necessary.
Task will include:
- Ordering supplies, filing, copying/printing, travel arrangements, support for all office employees, distributing information within the office, and tracking other staff member workflows.
- Creating and processing letters, meeting noted, memorandums, fee proposals, and specifications
- Front desk reception coverage, greeting visitors, and answering the phone.
- Additional administrative support duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe/blue beam. Prefer experience with Deltek Vision Software.
- A Notary license, or ability to obtain the license.
- Excellent organization, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to multitask.
