We’re currently hiring Veterinary Assistants for a weekend-focused schedule (Friday–Monday only) with part-time and full-time opportunities available.

What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Provide high-quality nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
- Take patient histories and record observations in medical records
- Perform phlebotomy, radiography, and in-house laboratory testing
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Educate and communicate with clients in a clear, compassionate manner
- Admit and discharge patients while ensuring a smooth client experience
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked hospital environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous veterinary experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence handling and restraining animals safely
- A positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic
- Genuine passion for animal care and a desire to grow in the field
Schedule
- Weekend-focused role: Friday through Monday strongly preferred. Weekdays days open to be discussed
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Flexibility to support multiple Heart of Chelsea locations when needed
