Fabrication Team Leader 3rd Shift (10:45pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs)

Job Title: Fabrication Team Leader 3rd Shift (10:45pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs)
Department: Fabrication
Accountability: This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor

Responsibilities:
• Set up daily work according to production schedule or verbal instructions
• Communicate and motivate fabrication team to execute to the production plan
• Distribute employee assignments to support the production schedule
• Train new hires and cross-train existing employees
• Serve as first point of contact for any inquiries regarding the fabrication process
• Provide feedback to the Fabrication Supervisor on employee performance
• Organize and conduct the shift-crossover meetings
• Oversee that cleanliness and safety are maintained in work area

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED, Technical Certification a plus
• Fabrication experience preferred but not required
• Possess working knowledge of all equipment in the Fabrication Department
• Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to read and analyze quality documents, technical procedures, work orders, schematics, blue prints, and drawings
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and convey them to others in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
• Proficient computer skills
• General knowledge of workplace safety a plus
