Midland Care Connection
Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Our mission centers on "meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions," and we serve people across multiple counties in northeast Kansas.
Administrative Float Specialist
Provides adaptable administrative support across multiple departments to ensure continuity of operations and organizational efficiency. Serves as a versatile resource capable of quickly integrating into diverse teams, managing shifting priorities, and maintaining productivity in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing communications, preparing documentation and reports, supporting departmental projects, and handling day-to-day administrative functions as needed. This role is essential in maintaining seamless workflow coverage during staffing gaps, peak workloads, or special initiatives, while consistently demonstrating professionalism, discretion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven track record of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and assignments as needed
Preferred
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Experience with electronic health records and healthcare management systems
- Administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare or related setting
