Location: Pittsfield, IL
Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, daytime hours with some variability based on departmental needs
About the Role:
The Medical Assistant – Family Practice supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a primary care setting. This role assists with both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages while supporting continuity of care and long-term patient relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information while documenting accurately in EPIC. Support providers during patient appointments, procedures, and treatments to ensure efficient clinic flow and quality care. Assist with medication refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and follow-up coordination. Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment while ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, and other care team members to support continuity of care and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn EPIC
