Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Cook 1 is responsible for the skilled preparation of a variety of food items for patients, staff, and visitors, including therapeutic diets. This role focuses on providing semi-skilled service in the preparation of both hot and cold meals. The Cook 1 performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, ensuring high-quality culinary service and adherence to nutritional standards.
One (1) year experience in hospital, restaurant or hotel food preparation setting or enrollment in a current culinary program.
