Exodontist or Oral Surgeon (Part-time)
Job Description
The Oral Surgeon or Exodontist works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare (NHC) by providing outpatient oral surgery services to patients (treating conditions, defects, and injuries of the mouth, gums, teeth, jaw). This role will perform more complex tooth extraction procedures which may even include removing impacted teeth. This role may also perform biopsy and tumor or cyst removal of the jaw and mouth. These procedures are based on in-house dental diagnostic assessments/consults and corresponding/appropriate treatment plans. In addition, this role will include appropriate follow-up care, impart health education information (including risks, benefits, alternatives)
Schedule: 2nd and 4th Friday every month from 8:00 am-5:00 pm (1 hour lunch).
