Job Responsibilities
- Primarily support sites in US on all Supplier Performance issues
- Lead the development and management of Supplier Quality Engineering methodology in multiple sites within region and suppliers globally
- Train, mentor, and use Quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, Six Sigma to drive supplier improvement
- Participate and lead NPI/ CE/VE projects to drive cost savings and compliance to Quality requirements across regions
- Drive Supplier Engineering metrics such as Cost of Poor Performance, Supplier PPM, Delivery (OTTR), Productivity and Lead Time as needed within the regional supply base to deliver results
- Assist Sourcing and Supplier Engineering leadership in Supplier selection, verification, development of suppliers globally.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SQE/SDE field with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in healthcare industry
- Experience with ISO standards and supplier quality auditing.
- Must have demonstrated understanding of APQP and PPAP processes and implementation.

Preferred Skills
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Experience dealing in multisite environment and managing requirements of multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with FDA Medical Devices and Drugs.

Strong background in Statistical process control, DOE, capability analysis (Cp, Cpk).
