Preschool Aide - 155

A St.Joseph Cardinal Preschool Aide supports the lead preschool teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and helping maintain a positive, organized classroom that promotes social, spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, lessons, and learning centers
• Supervise children during classroom time, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social skills
• Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom displays
• Observe children and report concerns or notable behaviors to the teacher
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Communicate respectfully with teachers, staff, and families as directed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Early childhood education experience preferred
• Ability to work well with young children and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
