Faculty Associate - Rural Health Tele-Neurology Coverage

The Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in collaboration with the University of Maryland Medical System offers a Tele-neurology coverage position for Shore Regional Health system located in on the eastern shore in Easton, Maryland. The position is a work-from-home position and provides coverage of Neurology Consults via tele-medicine encounters from 8 AM till 6 PM with telephonic coverage of consultative calls overnight. There are no in-house coverage responsibilities. This position will not be responsible for acute stroke or Neuro-critical care and is thus focused on general neurology consults. Daily rounding via telemedicine will occur in the morning and followed by consult coverage throughout the day. Coverage will be for 26 weeks per year.
