Ready to practice at the top of your license while gaining hands-on trauma and surgical experience? Atrium Health Floyd/Harbin is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Trauma & Emergency General Surgery team in beautiful Rome, Georgia.
This is an incredible opportunity for both experienced APPs and motivated new graduates looking to break into trauma surgery with strong physician mentorship, real autonomy, and a highly collaborative culture.

What You’ll Do As part of the Trauma Surgery APP team:
• Respond to Level I & Level II trauma activations
• Round daily with the surgical team
• Manage inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery patients
• Complete consults, admissions, and progress notes
• Perform bedside procedures including:
- Chest tubes
- FAST exams
- Additional trauma-related procedures
• Participate in weekly trauma clinic coverage
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
