Job Description
Oneida Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Office Assistant for our Camden Pediatrics Office. This role is a dynamic blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-centric environment, showcasing both independence and teamwork. While medical experience is a plus, a customer service attitude is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with patients in person and over the telephone with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Collect and record patient data with keen attention to detail.
- Address the needs of patients, visitors, co-workers, and the practice in a positive and timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills for efficient administrative tasks.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, adhering to infection prevention techniques.
- Assist providers with procedures and examinations.
- Perform treatments and procedures as directed.
- Reassure patients about wait times, giving priority to acutely ill patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Check equipment and stock supplies as needed.
- Place supply and pharmacy orders as required.
- Facilitate and execute physician orders as directed.
- Coordinate and schedule referrals and surgeries.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (Required)
