Position Overview
Hospitality Aides provide non-clinical support to residents and nursing staff while preparing to enter a CNA training program. This role allows you to gain hands-on experience in a skilled nursing environment before becoming a licensed CNA.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with non-clinical needs and comfort measures
- Answer call lights and communicate resident needs to nursing staff
- Help with meal service, hydration rounds, and room organization
- Assist with transporting residents and activity participation
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming resident environments
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors
- Participate in CNA training and educational opportunities
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control practices
CNA Certification Program
Qualified employees will have the opportunity to participate in our facility-sponsored CNA training program. Sequim Bay Post Acute covers the cost of the CNA course and supports employees through the certification process while they gain hands-on healthcare experience.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior experience working in a long-term care setting is a plus
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff. Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Possess special interest n, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderly. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
