Family Nurse Practitioner-Deaconess Cross Pointe Inpatient – DSS

The Advance Practice Provider provides comprehensive health assessments, determining diagnosis, plans and prescribing treatments and managing health care regimens in collaboration with the designated physician(s). Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage health care problems. This includes an independent and interdependent scope, the interdependent scope requires a collaborative agreement with the collaborating physician(s). APPs are health care providers, interdisciplinary consultants, and patient advocates within the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with the collaborating physician/physician group to provide coordinated continuity of care for the patient population served within their respective specialty service.
