Senior Transportation Safety & Security Specialist - Security Specialization

Under direction from the Transportation Safety & Security Manager, the Senior Transportation Safety & Security Specialist - Security Specialization implements and assists in completing the transportation safety and security mission. Within an assigned region, this work includes acting as an SME on Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles; physical security protection systems; risk assessment methodologies; and the complexities related to physical security design, implementation, and life-cycle management. Supports projects continuously into operations and interfaces with other agency departments and divisions, local emergency responders, building codes officials, and federal representatives as needed/requested.
