
Provider Partnerships Specialist
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Provider Partnerships Specialist is responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships within the healthcare, education, and community health sectors in their assigned region. This role focuses on promoting evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Pediatric Therapy services for children and families by building strong relationships with physicians, school administrators, and community health partners. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to make an impact and build a strong referral network. Close collaboration with the marketing team and clinical teams is a key aspect of this role, along with lead generation and working toward growth goals.
Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, school administrators, and community health and social organizations to promote and expand access to ABA and Pediatric Therapy services for children and families
- Identify, develop, and cultivate strategic partnership opportunities to increase access to pediatric therapies for children with developmental and behavioral needs
- Execute consistent weekly field outreach, including a minimum of 8 in-person visits per week, to build new referral relationships
- Drive referral network growth: build and manage an active portfolio of 50+ referral accounts, generate a target of 3 new referral relationships monthly and host a minimum of 2 educational lunch presentations or in-services per month
- Maintain accurate daily documentation of all outreach activity in CRM, ensuring a 48-hour follow-up on all new contacts and meeting outcomes
- Actively participate in strategy and collaboration by attending weekly team meetings, aligning with marketing, sharing competitive intelligence, and developing quarterly growth approaches for underperforming territory areas
- Effectively communicate the benefits of early intervention and customized ABA and Pediatric therapy solutions to physicians, care teams, and other key stakeholders to drive referrals and business growth
- Generate leads through various outreach methods and build relationships with potential referral partners to drive service utilization
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, clinical operations, and others, to develop and implement effective strategies that align with overall business goals
- Partner with the marketing team to create impactful messaging, educational materials, and referral strategies that resonate with target audiences and effectively promote ABA and Pediatric Therapy services
- Represent the company at conferences, professional association meetings, community events, and other networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and promote ABA and Pediatric Therapy services
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual business development goals, ensuring revenue and growth targets are achieved
- Ensure all partnership and referral-building activities are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards to maintain the integrity of the referral network
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to stay informed and adjust business development strategies accordingly
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare sales
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians, schools, and healthcare partners
- Proficiency with CRM tools to effectively manage sales pipelines and track business development activities
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to drive successful partnerships and achieve business goals
- Valid driver’s license with active insurance and a clean driving record
- Access to reliable transportation

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- The work environment will vary between professional office settings, on-site meetings at partner locations, and occasional attendance at conferences or events.
- Remote work is required when not traveling, involving virtual meetings and administrative tasks.
- Extended periods of driving and air travel may be required.
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving between various partner locations and event venues.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying marketing materials, presentation equipment, or promotional items (up to 25 lbs).
- Ability to drive for provider meetings, community events, and other commitments.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 100% within the designated territory.
