About the Role:

The Digital Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding customer relationships primarily through remote communication channels. This position focuses on identifying customer needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and closing sales within assigned territories using CRM systems to track and manage sales activities. The role requires collaboration with CSR and Service teams to ensure seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities. Success in this position is measured by the ability to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Digital Sales Representative must thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and leveraging technology to optimize sales processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, a related sales role or customer service.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and tools.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with outside sales coordination or territory management.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management strategies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of the specific industries or markets relevant to the assigned sales territories.
  • Additional training or certification in sales methodologies or CRM platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and CRM platforms to understand their needs and present tailored product or service solutions.
  • Manage and update customer information and sales activities accurately within CRM software such as Salesforce.com to ensure data integrity and effective pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with outside sales teams to coordinate efforts and ensure consistent messaging and customer follow-up across sales channels.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned sales territories to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Skills:

The required skills: 

  • 1+ year of Inside Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Proficiency with CRM software essential for managing customer interactions and tracking sales progress effectively on a daily basis. 
  • Strong computer skills which enable representatives to navigate multiple software tools and databases efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely data entry. 
  • Customer Relationship Management systems like Salesforce.com that are used to organize leads, monitor sales pipelines, and generate reports that inform strategic decisions. 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating adaptability and prioritization skills to handle multiple customer inquiries and sales tasks simultaneously.
