Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure readiness for emergencies.
- Support patients with mobility and personal care, fostering a compassionate environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care in various settings.
Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Current CNA Certification in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, working and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance.
