Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure readiness for emergencies.
  • Support patients with mobility and personal care, fostering a compassionate environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care in various settings.

 

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistant:

  • Current CNA Certification in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, working and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance.
