Position Overview

We are seeking a Boiler Operator to join our pipeline rehabilitation crew. In this role, you will operate boiler equipment and assist in projects such as slip lining, drainage repair and installation, and canal & lake bank restoration. The position requires travel, operation of small tools and heavy equipment, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. This role is ideal for candidates with underground utility experience and a Class A or B CDL license.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate and maintain boiler equipment for pipeline and utility projects
  • Work with a crew to complete projects safely and on time
  • Handle small tools and equipment safely and effectively (pumps, gas saws, compactors, bobcats, backhoes, etc.)
  • Travel and work in wet or varying weather conditions
  • Drive an 8, 9, or 10-speed vehicle and travel overnight Sunday – Friday as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Class A or B CDL license with tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • Minimum 2 years of boiler operations experience in underground utilities
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Flexible to work varying hours and overtime

Work Schedule

  • Home daily
  • Monday – Friday (overtime & weekends as needed)
  • Regional/OTR travel
