Position Summary
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients according to standardized recipes, production schedules, and food safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion ingredients for production
- Follow standardized recipes and cooking procedures
- Cook food according to company standards
- Complete production paperwork and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Remove damaged or incorrect product when identified
- Assist with inventory organization and ingredient preparation
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures
- Support team members and production needs as assigned
- Ensures quality standard are met and Correctly prepared and within acceptable time limits
- Managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and HACCP standards
- Controlling waste
- Using time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership
