Overview
The Senior Manager of Revenue Management Advisory is a proven leader, responsible for overseeing a team of Revenue Management Advisors that provide subject matter expert level insight and advice to customers from both a Revenue Management and general operations perspective. This leader will have the knowledge and expertise to mentor a team of Advisors, driving excellence in their work to help their customers executive their portfolio strategy and increase multifamily asset yield. The Senior Manager will also drive a results-oriented culture and will partner with other leaders in Revenue Management Advisory and across other RealPage departments to ensure the adoption and success of the RealPage Platform.
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and mentor a team of Revenue Management Advisors with subject-matter expertise and knowledge of Revenue Management and the multi-family operations
- Build and maintain relationships with customers within their advisors’ books of business, fostering partnership with key stakeholders and executives
- Assist Advisors with navigating unique or complex business scenarios to ensure advisors can consult on asset strategy and configure Revenue Management accordingly, balancing client goals and best practices
- Ensure Advisors are equipped to work with clients that are managing multi-million dollar assets, understanding risk assessment and tolerance
- Articulate the AI Revenue Management value proposition and develop credibility for its concepts and benefits across client organizations, this may include conference participation and session planning
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal RealPage staff at all levels, including senior executive sponsors
- Act as customer feedback loop, gathering sentiment from customers and advisors
- Conduct regular performance analysis regarding financial results, revenue management adoption behavior, leasing velocity and market conditions, and present results to executive leadership
- Research and evaluate modeling-related questions and provide thoughtful feedback to Advisors and customers
- Ensure Advisors are prepared to consult with customers on parameter configurations and make strategic recommendations for necessary changes
- Mitigate risk of business loss by overseeing adoption and success criteria for the customers that their team supports, coaching Advisors on overcoming challenges and obstacles
- Set expectations, provide goals, and manage priorities for direct reports to contribute to team objectives
- Efficiently lead and oversee projects and use Sales Force to track and update project steps
- Create formal networks to coordinate with other RealPage teams to facilitate timely implementation and overall client success with an emphasis on the other pillar products that support AI Revenue Management and DemandX
- Prepare and deliver in person and virtual solution reviews along with Advisors
- Ensure Advisors can analyze and present on the financial impact of asset amenitization and monetization, and assist clients in strategizing for improved outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years of experience in multifamily property management or related industry demonstrating consistent progression, including leading teams
- 5 years of experience with Realpage Revenue Management, including 2 years of Revenue Management Advisory
- Works autonomously with little to no supervision
- Displays superior business acumen and understanding of organizational agility
- Experience using SalesForce and Microsoft office products (Excel, Power Point and Word)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence others
- Strong project management skills required; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to change and work well in an autonomous dynamic environment
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal business hours at times depending upon workload
- Demonstrated ability to proactively assess and address risk
- Demonstrated ability to reverse the trend of a degenerating or struggling client relationship with results bearing out consistently at least 3-6 months following escalation
- Analytical background and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Certified to lead in-person manager training and Revenue Manager Certification training
- Familiarity with RealPage products or other property management software
- Experience mentoring or training others
- Experience delivering professional presentations and dealing with senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to understand and advise on the impact of all facets of operations that can impact revenue performance
- Expert level knowledge of one or more RealPage Revenue Management solutions
- Knowledge of Realpage products including but not limited to: OneSite Leasing and Rents, Performance Analytics, Business Intelligence, Market Analytics, G5 Digital Advertising, AI Screening, Amenity Optimization, and DemandX
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Previous leadership experience
- Working knowledge of Realpage products including but not limited to: OneSite Leasing and Rents, Performance Analytics, Business Intelligence, Market Analytics, G5 Digital Advertising, AI Screening, Amenity
- Superior project management, time management, organization, and efficiency, demonstrating they value the time of other collaborators
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a natural draw to continual personal improvement and collaborative product enhancement
- Widely trusted and viewed as a leader based on actions, not title
