Community Based Therapist (MH Professional/Counselor)-Master's Degree Required

The Community Based Therapist will provide individual/family counselling in the home/community settings as well as group therapy in an office setting when appropriate to Young Adults ages 18-25 who have significant mental health needs as well as a history of involvement with welfare or juvenile justice systems. Individual will work closely as the "Team Lead" with Certified Peer Specialist, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor and the Service Coordinator (Mobile Transition Age Youth (MTAY) Treatment Team). The therapist will use evidence-based practices and assessment tools designed specifically for transition age youth.
