Reporting to Turf's National Sales Director, the Turf AS Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the overall sales, sales operations, and overall profitability in a designated region. What You’ll Do Consistently achieves overall regional sales goals, including the realization of established revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin goals for assigned region. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging technological and financial opportunities, while maximizing and enhancing available assets and resources. Recruits, onboards, trains, and manages independent representatives within the region. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all representatives, to ensure company values, strategies, and objectives are communicated and understood. Ensures that representative sales goals and objectives are met by assigning accountabilities with monthly metrics to drive results and manage consistently. Keeps current with industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage. Plans, manages, and attends trade shows and conferences where a company presence is necessary; plans and assists representatives with their shows.  Follows up with them on their shows to assess the value to and impact on the company. Travel: Significant; approximately 50%. Able to maintain high levels of cross-functional collaboration across all of the company to build collaborative relationships and achieve desired sales results. Conforms to the application of something, typically that which is necessary for the sake of logic, accuracy, or fairness. Possesses or exhibits energy and enthusiasm around the task/goal. Knows how to encourage creativity and experimentation – recognizes successes – learns and recovers from the failures quickly, recognizes achievements of others, and is quick to publicly praise them (via Slack, etc.). Constantly challenges the status quo and helps representatives navigate change by communicating clearly and supporting them. Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve established revenue targets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years of sales experience in the A&D industry is required. Experience with building and growing new businesses and expanding existing customer portfolio through a representative-based sales structure is required.
