Job Description:
What You Will Work On
As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will lead the design and optimization of end-to-end distribution center processes that directly impact speed to shelf, cost efficiency, and service performance. You will analyze current-state workflows across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to identify opportunities to increase throughput, reduce touch points, and improve overall flow. Your work will help ensure the operation is positioned to flex with seasonal demand and evolving omnichannel fulfillment needs.
In this role, you will develop data-driven recommendations for labor strategy, automation, slotting, and facility layout while balancing cost, scalability, and operational resiliency. You will build business cases, model scenarios, and quantify return on investment to support capital and process improvement decisions. From concept through implementation, you will partner closely with operations to bring ideas to life and validate that improvements deliver sustained results.
Who You Will Work With
You will work side by side with Distribution Center leadership, operations managers, and frontline teams to translate engineering concepts into practical, executable solutions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners including IT, Finance, Maintenance, Safety, and external vendors to align technical designs with business priorities.
As a trusted advisor, you will influence stakeholders at multiple levels, mentor early-career engineers, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement across the network.
