Laboratory Transcriptionist Secretary - Pathology (Days) PT

The Transcriptionist/Secretary is responsible for overall customer support in assigned area. This position assists the department with day-to-day operations and clerical functions including, but not limited to: correspondence, scheduling, meeting arrangement, meeting minutes, slide and block filing, and calling daily for documented procedures. The Transcriptionist/Secretary demonstrates flexibility and teamwork in managing the office and performing proactively with minimal direct supervision and exemplifies professionalism, leadership, and confidentiality. This position may have access to confidential employee and organizational information. Furthermore, this position may be asked to shadow and support for the Pathology department including labeling, retrieving, storing, slide scanning, and distributing slides.
