Job Description
PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be on time

- Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor

- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
- Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit
- This position is located at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL
- This is the work schedule: One week it's like this and then the following week it transitions to the other schedule listed.
- Sunday/on - Mon/off - Tues/on - Wed/on - Thurs/on - Fri/off - Sat/on
Sunday/on - Mon/off - Tues/on - Wed/on - Thurs/on - Fri/on- Sat/off
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross-train in other positions per facility needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
- Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics
