Full-Time Veterinarian – Kindness Animal Hospital
📍 Wheaton, Maryland
Kindness Animal Hospital is looking to grow our team with a compassionate, team-oriented experienced veterinarian to join our well-established, recently renovated practice in Wheaton, MD. About Kindness Animal Hospital
Our standalone hospital has proudly served the community for over 40 years and has been newly renovated within the past year. Inside, you’ll find:
- 6 exam rooms (including a dedicated feline room)
- A fully equipped surgical suite and dental area
- A spacious treatment area with two wet tables
- A paper-lite workflow for efficiency and ease
We are a 100% small animal practice (dogs & cats only) and pride ourselves on providing high-quality, comprehensive care. You’ll have access to modern tools and resources, including ultrasound, therapeutic laser, Cryo, and TonoPen.
We also partner with visiting specialists in ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery, allowing us to keep many advanced cases in-house.
What a Day Looks Like with Us
- Average of 14–15 patients per day
- 30-minute appointment times
- Surgery-focused day once per week (if desired)
- Surgeons typically perform 3–4 procedures
Our Team Culture & Schedule
We’ve built a diverse, collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together.
- 1.5 technicians per doctor
- 4 RVTs on staff
- Special interests include behavior certification and feline low-stress handling
- 3 days of appointments + 1 surgery day per week
- No after-hours or on-call responsibilities 🙌
