Create, revise, and interpret CAD models/drawings (2D and 3D) with guidance from team members
Prepare materials and components for fabrication and prototyping; support shop equipment operation (CNC, 3D printing, and hand tools) under supervision and in accordance with safety requirements
Maintain tool shop organization, including materials, tooling components, and consumables
Measure and inspect tooling parts for wear, fit, and basic quality requirements; document findings as needed
Participate in product testing (fit, strength, performance); record observations and assist with documenting methods and results
Support manufacturing trials and production runs by observing processes, identifying visible issues (e.g., defects, misalignment, tooling wear), collecting data, and assisting with basic troubleshooting
Collaborate with engineers to incorporate testing and trial feedback into design iterations and continuous improvements
Support project, trial, and tooling-change documentation by organizing files/drawings and maintaining accurate revision records (as directed)
