Manage the day-to-day issues and operations in the refinery
Working closely with operational personnel to understand problems, perform troubleshooting and develop solutions together
Use strong continuous improvement skills to enhance system reliability and identify/implement productivity and cost improvements including new technologies.
Show thorough understanding of the interactions between machine, materials, methods, environment, and people to provide robust operating systems.
Provide key technical support in capital projects and new product and Process equipment testing/start-ups.
Ensure safety and quality aspects of the equipment meets company requirements
Provide documentation, operator and maintenance training and support.
Design and develop capital projects for new equipment installation
Provide guidance, training and development to supervisors and hourly operators
Other duties as assigned
