Overview
Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) is seeking a Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgical oncologist to join its high-volume Liver, Pancreas and Complex GI Program. This individual will join a multidisciplinary team of subspecialized physicians, and highly trained clinical and support services staff members who are committed to making a difference in their chosen field and to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Experienced Hepatopancreatobiliary surgical oncologist with leadership experience to join high volume Liver and Pancreas Program
- Primary Focus: Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery - Liver, Pancreas, Biliary and Complex GI Cancers
- Experience with and commitment to cancer clinical trials and research is highly desirable
Program Goals
- Deliver excellent patient care and outcomes utilizing a multidisciplinary approach
- Provide leadership in prevention, screening, and education through NHCI’s robust Genetic Counseling and Survivorship Programs
- Offer ease of access to care that includes state-of-the-art clinical research trials
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Board-certified general surgeon
- Fellowship training in surgical oncology and/or hepatobiliary surgery
- 5-8 years of clinical and leadership experience preferred
