Why is this Role Essential?
Concerto is seeking a Staffing & Operations Coordinator to support our growing regional operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent staffing coverage, operational efficiency, and seamless support across the market. The SOC partners closely with the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) and Regional Managers (RM) and serves as a key operational resource for the region.
What Will You Do?
- Develop, maintain, and optimize staffing schedules for Patient Care Technicians and Registered Nurses using Concerto’s scheduling software
- Coordinate staffing coverage to address call-offs, open shifts, and urgent operational needs
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of regional staffing operational processes and systems
- Provide coordination support for regional initiatives and market priorities
- Assist the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) with additional operational, logistical, and administrative tasks as assigned

What’s Required?
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours as operational needs require
- Participation in an on-call rotation to support regional staffing and operational needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- High attention to detail with well-developed problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in scheduling, staffing, and/or administrative support preferred
On Call & Work Expectations (SOC):
- On-call rotation occurs approximately every 10 weeks, covering one full week
- On-call hours run from Sunday at 8:00 PM through Saturday at 6:00 AM
- Respond to call-offs and staffing gaps, coordinating coverage for designated Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin markets only
- Remote role: candidates must reside in IL, IN, or WI
- Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT) required, with the ability to staff clinically across a multi-state region as needed
- Required to support staffing coverage during operational or staffing crises
- Regular travel (up to 3x per week) within assigned markets
