Job Description
The Group Home Youth Treatment Counselor is responsible for supporting our Group Home Parent in supervising residents in a Group Home setting. The YTC will assist the Group Home parent in the following duties:

Supervising daily activities

Teaching independent living skills

Transporting residents to appointments and outings

Documenting any incidents and information that addresses the needs of the residents

Completing daily progress notes on each resident

Supporting residents using therapeutic crisis intervention as needed
The position requires a flexible schedule. The Group Home Youth Treatment Counselor may be cross-trained to provide support at our Residential Treatment Center as a direct care staff.
Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma/GED
-
2 years of experience working with children/teens

Clean Background
-
Valid Driver's License/Good driving record

Basic computer skills
-
Good writing and comprehension skills
