Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters/Metal Framers for projects located in the Mobile, AL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30+/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install metal stud framing, track, backing, and exterior framing systems on commercial projects
- Assist with façade installation, exterior wall systems, panels, and structural framing components
- Read blueprints and work from layout marks with minimal supervision
- Hang drywall and frame walls, soffits, openings, and exterior assemblies as needed
- Safely use lifts, lasers, screw guns, impacts, and standard carpenter tools on active commercial jobsites
Requirements
- Strong commercial metal framing experience required
- Facade or exterior wall system experience preferred
- Must have basic carpenter hand tools and PPE
- Ability to read a tape measure and work efficiently from prints/layouts
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
