We’re looking for a Dietary Aide Supervisor to join our compassionate and dedicated dietary team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on daily operations, ensuring smooth meal service and high-quality care for our patients. You'll set the tone for excellence — not only in how we serve food, but in how we show care and respect through every meal.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Team: Assign and oversee daily tasks for dietary aides, helping the team stay organized, supported, and successful.
- Ensure Meal Quality: Prepare and maintain food service lines with a focus on accuracy, freshness, and presentation.
- Support Patient Care: Assemble trays according to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring compliance with diet orders.
- Manage Patient Data: Maintain and update a patient dietary database, including special diets, food allergies, and personal preferences — accuracy is key.
- Keep It Safe & Sanitary: Uphold all safety, sanitation, and infection prevention protocols — because clean service is quality service.
- Be the Go-To Resource: Serve as the point person for questions, problem-solving, and training new team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in food service — lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions, allergies, and special diets (we’ll train you too!)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfort with basic computer tasks (Microsoft Office, digital documentation)
- ServSafe Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Dependable, organized, and ready to lead by example
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a mission-driven team that makes a daily impact on patient health and well-being
- Growth opportunities — we promote from within
- Supportive leadership and a positive work culture
- Consistent hours and a stable healthcare setting
