YSS is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Kids Club Site Coordinator to join our team in Ballard!
At Kids Club, we do more than provide childcare—we create a place where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn, play, and grow. As the Site Coordinator, you’ll lead the daily experience for children and staff alike, helping create a fun, structured, and welcoming environment where every child feels seen, encouraged, and connected.
This role is equal parts leader, mentor, organizer, and problem-solver. You’ll oversee daily programming, support and coach staff, build strong relationships with families, and bring creative activities to life throughout the school year and summer. :
What You'll Do...
- Plan and lead engaging programming during the school year, school breaks, in-service days, and summer.
- Create educational, recreational, and service-learning activities that keep kids active and engaged.
- Coach and support staff in daily operations, behavior support, and classroom management.
- Maintain a safe, positive environment while supervising children and encouraging participation.
- Oversee attendance, family communication, child records, and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Coordinate meals and snacks and help daily routines run smoothly.
- Partner with community organizations and team members to enhance programming.
- Complete required documentation and participate in trainings and meetings.

MUST HAVES (Required Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working with children in a school, child care, or youth development setting
SHOULD HAVES (Preferred Qualifications)
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field
- One or more years of experience in a school, child care, or child development setting
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role
- CPR/First Aid, Universal Precautions, and Mandatory Reporter training (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
