HFO JDNO Systems Engineer for Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Test/Experimentation supporting US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and Warfigther Integration Cell (WIC).
Description:
The successfully selected candidate for this HFO JDNO Systems Engineer position will be a full-time employee of the KBR team supporting our DOW Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) contract. TRMC works with INDOPACOM and other CCMDs and service components to gather needs and requirements to build out T&E solutions.
Duties will include the following:
- Assist in eliciting and capturing CCMD and service component requirements for ADTR and WIC;
- Serve as a JDNO SME to CCMDs for the TRMC ADTR and WIC;
- Work closely with TRMC T&E system engineers to define potential solutions over time against these requirements;
- Provide JDNO and Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Subject Matter Expertise to collect, document, assess, develop, validate, and prioritize requirements for operational test and training infrastructure (OTTI) in support of all range sustainment, modernization, and investments;
- Work directly with the operational community, helping TRMC WIC define the required infrastructure for distributed, LVC, All-Domain test and training, and experimentation support, especially for C2, JDNO, and JICO activities;
- Assist in the integration of the ADTR Network Verification and Integration Lab (ANVIL) into INDOPACOM activities for test and training and experimentation; assist in the integration of WIC capabilities into CCMD experimentation
- Assist WIC and HFO with Cybersecurity activity related to information exchange requirements and firewall exemption requests (IER/FER) during exercises/events;
- Work with TRMC program management and senior leadership to help estimate and plan resources for ADTR and WIC;
- Communicate TRMC vision for the future of distributed T&E in DoW Strategic Plan for T&E Resources and appropriate DoW T&E community forums;
- Become established as a functional authority on Operational requirements in the T&E community.
Must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Technical Master’s Degree
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience to include the following:
Joint Data Network Operations Officer Joint Interface Control Officer C2/tactical data links and training range infrastructure Military Operations and Experimentation Participation in Large Distributed Test, Training, or Experimentation Exercises or Events
- Experience with Range Cybersecurity
- Active and readily transferable Top Secret clearance
- Preferred Education, Experience and Knowledge:
- Education: Master’s Degree
- Experience with exercise planning and execution
- Experience with C2ISR systems, threats, and Red Force C2
- Experience with training range expansion and systems integration
