Short Description
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides advanced clinical pharmacy services in various specialties to ensure optimal safety and cost-effective therapeutic regimens in collaboration with respective specialty disciplines
Experience Required
- 0-2 years' experience required.
- 3-5 years' experience preferred.
- Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
Education Requirements
- Doctorate Degree required.
License/Certification Requirements
- New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 6 months) required.
- Postgraduate (PGY2) residency in required specialty required.
- Board Certification (in specialty practice) preferred.
Special Requirements
- BS in Pharmacy if entry level degree was prior to PharmD degree.
- Hospital pharmacy experience (or clinically relevant experience).
- PGY2 required in specialty or equivalent clinically relevant experience.
- PGY1 required.
- Board certification (or eligible) if applicable.
