Customer Service Representative
Location: Houston, TX
We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide outstanding support to our customers and internal teams. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for order processing, customer inquiries, and service coordination while helping ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce system to manage assigned work
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and email inbox
- Converse with customers and internal departments regarding various service questions
- Research customer account requirements
- Process account and invoice corrections
- Support sales representative on any questions or requests
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
Basic Requirements
- Must be able to pass background screening
- Reside withing reasonable commuting distance
- Minimum one year’s experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environment
- Minimum one-year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers
- Stable employment history
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook programs
- Able to type minimum of 30 WPM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Adept at problem solving
- Flexible with change
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor
Preferred
- Experience in the transportation industry
- SAP experience
- Customer Service phone experience
