Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative for Canada partners with sales leadership and field sales representatives to increase market share and sales dollars for the Momentec Brands clothing line in Canada. This role is responsible for supporting the customer experience & sales growth across all channels. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, tech-savvy, and knowledgeable about custom sportswear.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Help maintain relationships with longtail and new business accounts
  • Contribute to account planning and execution alongside Sales Team
  • Provide pre-sales support to build the sales funnel and improve conversion rates
  • Monitor customer activity and flag potential attrition risks
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with efficiency
  • Learn and support product line knowledge and comparative offerings
  • Collaborate with Marketing & IT to troubleshoot eComm issues
  • Work collaboratively with Field Sales Representatives to respond to customer inquiries and provide product, program, and pricing information
  • Support order entry processes including quotes, sample orders, and artwork mockups
  • Guide customers through Freestyle design tools and web-based ordering platforms such as Builders, B2B eCommerce carts, and API-integrated stores
  • Support customer onboarding by coordinating with Field Sales and Customer Care teams
  • Actively monitor shared communication channels including Live Chat (Canada) and support queues
  • Submit and monitor orders including blank, custom, and freestyle designs
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Momentec’s systems including M3, Zoho CRM, Power BI, Jira, Coms, and Kustomer
  • Participate in occasional trade shows or customer visits as needed
  • Oversee daily operations of the Kitchener office to ensure an organized, efficient, and professional work environment
  • Manage the sample library, including organization, inventory tracking, updates, and coordination of sample requests and returns
  • Coordinate delivery and receiving, ensuring shipments are received, logged, distributed, and stored correctly
  • Handle mail sorting and distribution, including inbound, outbound, and courier coordination
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation, ensuring displays are current, tidy, and client-ready at all times
  • Support tradeshow preparation, including sample selection, packing, shipping logistics, and post-event inventory reconciliation
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to support office facilities, supplies, and operational needs

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Highly organized and responsive to customer needs

  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a team-based sales environment
  • Experience in the promotional, sportswear or decorated apparel industry is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and web-based platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM tools (Zoho experience a plus)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively with customers and internal partners to resolve issues
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a professional demeanor
  • Understanding of team sports and community athletics strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid Remote – 2-3 days in office in Kitchener, ON

 

WORK HOURS:

  • M-F 8:30 to 5:00 PM local time or longer as needed at times to ensure accounts are properly serviced and supported in a timely and appropriate manner
